Free Verizon Ringtones

This is step by step tutorial on how to register and use Verizon's free Picture & Video Messaging service. This will enable you to upload and send your free verizon ringtones that you created and downloaded with our Create Ringtones online tool.

You will not encounter any delays (unless verizon is experiencing technical issues), and your ringtone will be delivered in a matter of minutes in the form of a picture message.

This will work on most new phone models sold. However, some older models do not allow Sounds to be converted into ringtones.

Supported Phones

We have tested the following phone models, and this method is guaranteed to work.

Motorola Phones:

• V3C (Rzr)

LG Phones:

• VX 9900 (EnV), VX8800 (Venus) , VX 8500 (Chocolate), VX 10000 (Voyager), VX 9400, VX 5300

Samsung Phones:

• SCH - U900 (Flipshot) , SCH - U470 (Juke), SCH - U700 (Muse), SCH - U430 (Snap), SCH - U410, SCH - U550, SCH - U740 (Alias)

Note: You will need a specially formatted ringtone

Verizon will not allow uploads of type mp3. They only allow .wav and .qcp sound files. You can use our site to download the .wav format. This is how:

1. Log in to your account (this is an important step)
2. Go to the ringtone preview page.
   A ringtone preview page looks like this:

3. Click on the button called [Send to Phone]
4. Click on the third option labeled
   [Alternate and Most Reliable Delivery Method]
5. Click on
   [Click Here for an Alternate Verizon Delivery Method ]
6. Click on
   [ Right Click To Download Your File ]

Sign Up with VZW.com

Go to VZW.com to get started. All you need is your phone number and your account password. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it by giving your System Billing Password (password you used the day you signed up with Verizon).

1. Click on Verizon's top menu button labeled Messaging.
2. Once it drops down, click on Picture & Video Messaging

Username and Password

Use your phonenumber and password to log in.

Click the Upload Button

Upload Ringtone

Click on the "Browse" Button and Select the ringtone that you created with Ventones.

Drag your Ringtone

Use your mouse to drag and drop the ringtone.

Send To Phone Option

1. Add your 7 digit number
2. Add a subject to your Picture Message
3. Click on "Send"
